Nimino is the moniker of Milo Evans, a UK-based electronic music producer and DJ. He gained significant recognition starting in his teenage years and has become known for his distinctive and adaptable electronic music style.

Nimino's music blends various genres, including house, hip-hop, UK garage, and lo-fi elements. His sound is often described as lusciously deep, emotional, and suitable for diverse settings. He has been compared to artists like Mura Masa, SG Lewis, and Cosmo's Midnight. His production often features a "world-building" approach, balancing light and dark sounds, and sometimes incorporates unique samples like laughter used rhythmically.

He achieved massive success in 2024 with the single "I Only Smoke When I Drink". The track went viral, particularly on TikTok, amassed over 100 million streams, charted for over 20 weeks on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart, entered the UK Singles Chart, and received significant airplay (including BBC Radio 1's A List). It was championed by DJs like Pete Tong, Diplo, and Danny Howard.

His latest EP, Creek, was released in March 2025 via Ninja Tune's imprint, Counter Records. It includes "I Only Smoke When I Drink" along with other tracks like "Shaking Things Up," "Nothing Perfect," and "Glow." His album Rooms on the Ark was released in 2021.

His musical journey began in his teens, using music production as a way to channel his ADHD. An early notable release was a popular bass-inflected cover of Pixies' "Where Is My Mind" on SoundCloud around 2013, earning him Huffington Post's "Artist of the Month" title.

Nimino was named one of Amazon Music UK's "2025 Artists To Watch" and included in Tomorrowland's "20 of 2025" list. He recorded a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in early 2025.

He has performed at major festivals like Leeds Fest and Lightning in a Bottle, and played sold-out headline shows in venues like Village Underground (London), Racket (NYC), and El Rey Theatre (LA). He completed a sold-out North American tour in late 2024 and is set to perform at major festivals in 2025, including Coachella's Do LaB stage (April 2025).

He composed music for the 2022 Lacoste x Zalando ad campaign. He has also released music on Lane 8's label, This Never Happened (e.g., "Can't Get Over" with Lucas Geddes).

In summary, Nimino (Milo Evans) is a rapidly rising electronic music producer from the UK, known for his genre-bending style and propelled into the global spotlight by his viral hit "I Only Smoke When I Drink." He continues to build momentum with new releases on Counter Records and prominent festival appearances.
